YouTube will automatically label AI videos
If creators don't disclose realistic AI content, YouTube's systems will now detect it and add a label.

What's new
YouTube will automatically apply a label to videos with significant photorealistic AI content when creators don't disclose it.
Where labels appear
- Long-form videos: directly below the player.
- Shorts: as an overlay.
- Unrealistic or lightly altered content: in the expanded description.
For creators
- Wrong labels can be corrected in YouTube Studio.
- Labels are permanent for content made with Veo, Dream Screen, or carrying C2PA metadata.
- Labels don't affect recommendations or monetization.
