Spotify lets you edit your Taste Profile
By typing what you want, you can tell Spotify what music you like and don't, for better recommendations.

What's new?
Spotify co-CEO Gustav Söderström announced at SXSW that users can now edit their Taste Profile, Spotify's picture of their music preferences.
How does it work?
- Tap your profile picture and scroll down.
- Type in plain language, for example: "more 90s rock" or "stop recommending kids' music."
Previously you could only exclude certain tracks or playlists from recommendations.
Where does it apply?
- At launch: the Home page.
- Later: Discover Weekly, Made For You and Wrapped.
When?
First for Premium listeners in New Zealand, then to other markets "in the coming weeks."
*This feature is still in beta; wider availability is expected soon.
