ChatGPT can now connect to your bank accounts
OpenAI launched Finances in ChatGPT, letting users link bank and investment accounts and ask questions about their spending.

What's new
OpenAI launched Finances in ChatGPT. You can link bank and investment accounts and ask things like "I feel like I've been spending more recently. Has anything changed?"
How it works
- Linking uses Plaid, covering more than 12,000 institutions (Chase, Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, American Express and more).
- Open it from Settings, the Finances sidebar item, or by typing "@Finances".
- Data from disconnected accounts is removed within 30 days.
- Powered by GPT-5.5.
Availability
- Preview for Pro subscribers in the US, on web and iOS.
- Plus users later.
More than 200 million users ask ChatGPT financial questions every month.
