Anthropic releases Claude Opus 4.6 with agent teams that work together
Opus 4.6 has a 1 million token context window and a new "agent teams" feature. Claude now also works inside PowerPoint.

On February 5, Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.6, about three months after Opus 4.5 (November 2025).
What's new?
- Agent teams: several AI agents can work together on one task, in parallel
- A 1 million token context window, so it can read very large documents and codebases at once
- Claude now works as a side panel inside PowerPoint
Who gets agent teams?
The feature is available as a research preview for API users and paid subscribers.
Scott White, Head of Product at Anthropic, said the agents coordinate "in parallel" and work faster.
This feature is still in testing and will be widely available soon.
