According to the **Financial Times**, **Waymo**, the self-driving car company owned by Alphabet (Google's parent), is close to finishing a **$16 billion** funding round.

- More than **three quarters** of the money comes from **Alphabet**
- New investors: **Dragoneer**, **Sequoia Capital** and **DST Global**
