# Microsoft says it has over 20 million paid Copilot seats

## What was announced
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said **M365 Copilot** now has **20 million paid enterprise seats**.

## Numbers
- Customers with more than 50,000 seats **quadrupled**.
- Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, Mercedes and Roche each have **more than 90,000** seats.
- **Accenture**: more than **740,000** seats. Nadella called it "our largest Copilot win to date."
- Queries per user rose nearly **20%** quarter over quarter.
- Weekly engagement is now **at the same level as Outlook**.

## Agent mode
Agent mode is now the default experience in Copilot, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
