## What happened
VR fitness game **Supernatural** is being spun out of **Meta** to a new independent company, **Supernatural Health**.

- Founded by the game's original founders.
- It takes over the app **later this year**.

## Background
- Meta bought **Within**, Supernatural's studio, in **2023** for a reported **$400 million**, after an eight-month **FTC** antitrust fight.
- Meta later laid off much of its VR team and stopped adding new content.

"Supernatural is being reborn," the new company said.
