# Meta debuts Muse Spark, the start of a ground-up AI overhaul

## What's new
Meta released **Muse Spark**, the first model from **Meta Superintelligence Labs**, led by Alexandr Wang.

Meta calls it the "first product of a ground-up overhaul of our AI efforts."

(For context: Meta paid $14.3 billion for a 49% stake in Wang's Scale AI.)

## Where it's available
- On the web and in the **Meta AI** app.
- Users sign in with a Facebook or Instagram account.
- A private API preview for select users.

## Contemplating mode
- Runs multiple agents in parallel to answer complex questions.
- Per Meta: **58%** on Humanity's Last Exam and **38%** on FrontierScience Research.

*Contemplating mode is still rolling out gradually and is expected to be available soon.
