## Conversational search
On June 15, 2026, Meta announced new AI features for Facebook, led by AI Mode. The feature lets people ask questions in everyday language and receive a synthesized answer grounded in publicly shared content.

Rather than only providing a list of results or links, Meta AI draws on public discussions, including Groups and Reels. Such answers should be distinguished from information issued directly by a specialist institution or official source.

## Other additions
The original article also covered Forum and its Ask tab, which answers questions from group discussions. Alongside search, the updates included tools for video montages, collages and image editing.

Wear It in Stories lets people experiment with clothing and hairstyle changes using AI.

## Why checking the source matters
Summarizing people's experiences can help readers discover recommendations. It does not make every underlying post accurate or current. Readers should examine the original post, its date and context, especially when an answer could influence an important decision.

This article records the June 2026 announcement. It does not assume that every feature became available to every account or market on the announcement date.
