## What was found
The **Microsoft Copilot** terms of use include these lines:
- "Copilot is for entertainment purposes only."
- "Don't rely on Copilot for important advice."

The terms appear to have last been updated on October 24, 2025.

## Microsoft's response
A Microsoft spokesperson told PCMag this is "legacy language" that "will be altered with our next update."

## Not just Microsoft
- OpenAI and xAI use similar disclaimers.
- OpenAI says not to use its output as "a sole source of truth or factual information."

## Why it stands out
Microsoft is pushing hard to get businesses to pay for Copilot, while its own terms call it entertainment.
