# Claude Fable 5 arrives: the first Mythos-class model for everyone

**Anthropic** released **Claude Fable 5**, the **first** publicly available **Mythos**-class model.

That's **double** Opus 4.8.

## Availability
- **Claude API** and consumption-based Enterprise plans.
- Included in **Pro, Max, Team** and seat-based Enterprise through **June 22**; usage credits required from June 23.

## Safeguards
- In high-risk areas (cybersecurity, biology, chemistry), it falls back to **Opus 4.8**.
- Anthropic says at least **95%** of sessions run entirely on Fable 5.
- "Internally, we ran an external bug bounty that produced no universal jailbreaks in over 1,000 hours of testing."

TechCrunch found Fable 5 can make fun **video games** with the click of a button.
