## What's new
Google added a setting to **Chrome on Android** that lets you share only your **approximate location** with websites. Sites learn your general area, not your exact address.

## Need precision?
You can still share your **precise location** when a site really needs it, such as maps or delivery.

## Desktop and developers
Google says the feature comes to desktop Chrome "in the coming months," along with new **web APIs** for developers.

Google: "By letting you share your approximate location, we're giving you more control over your location data."
