# Apple loses bid to pause App Store fee changes as Epic case heads to Supreme Court

## What happened
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals granted **Epic Games'** motion. That means Apple must, for now, keep allowing apps to include **external payment links** with **no commission** on those purchases.

The court said: "Apple has failed to show good cause to sustain our prior stay order."

## What's next
- The district court will decide how much commission Apple can charge on link-out purchases.
- Apple is taking the case to the **US Supreme Court**.

Epic called Apple's move "another delay tactic."
